Position: Full Time 1.0 FTE Counselling Therapist – Intensive Services

Location: Serving Leeds & Grenville (Brockville office)

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, flexibility is required, Monday to Friday

Reporting To: Genevieve Fincher, Program Director, Intensive Services

Job Summary: The Intensive Services program is a predominately in home treatment program that addresses the emotional and behavioural needs of children and youth up to 18 years of age. Using a range of evidence informed treatment modalities, the Counselling Therapist provides case coordination, treatment planning, and intensive intervention to build on families strengths and deal with mental health difficulties.

Qualifications:

· Masters degree in a relevant social sciences field preferred;

· Bachelor’s degree in a human services/social sciences discipline;

· Currently registered, or eligible for registration, in a relevant regulatory body (CRPO, OCSWSSW);

· Experience in child/youth, group and family counseling in areas including (but not limited to) trauma, anxiety, suicide risk assessment, crisis intervention, would be considered an asset;

· Experience in collaborating work with schools and community partners;

· Candidates would benefit from experience and specialized training in various clinical interventions and modalities

· Knowledge of relevant legislation and community resources;

· Outstanding client service and a family centred focus;

· Demonstrated assessment skills;





· Full use of a car and be able to transport clients and hold appropriate insurance;

· Ability to set up a home office with reliable internet connection and privacy; and

· Knowledge working with various computer programs including Microsoft Teams.

Salary: Wage scale - $36.49/hour - $44.26/hour
