This role plays a key part in supporting project delivery through accurate quantity takeoffs, construction layout preparation, and 3D modeling for civil projects.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain detailed CAD drawings for heavy civil construction projectsPerform quantity takeoffs and calculations from drawings and modelsDevelop and manage 3D models for construction planning and executionAssist with construction layout,



including coordinate geometry and field data preparationCollaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure accuracy and efficiencyRevise drawings based on project changes and field feedbackQualifications:Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related fieldProficiency in CAD software (e.G., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar)Experience with 3D modeling in a civil construction environmentStrong understanding of construction drawings, surveying, and layout principlesExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesPreferred Experience:Previous experience in heavy civil construction projectsFamiliarity with GPS machine control and survey data workflowsKnowledge of earthworks and infrastructure construction methodsCompany pensionHealth and Dental InsuranceRRSP matchOn-site parking
