We are seeking a motivated and dependable 5 Ton Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a 5-ton truck to transport freight and equipment across various locations. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair will ensure timely deliveries and smooth operations.

Duties

- Safely operate a 5-ton truck to deliver freight, equipment, and supplies to designated destinations
- deliver appliance and Furniture to customers with a helper
- invice and report issues to dispatch
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to address minor vehicle issues before or after trips




- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe transportation at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries and pickups

Skills

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience handling freight shipments with attention to safety and accuracy
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair skills
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- have a minimum of 1 year of appliance delivery experience
