About the job:Employment type: PermanentHours of work: Full-time (37.5 hrs/wk)No. of positions: 2What you'll doDeveloping earned media strategies and products, and coordinating and executing a variety of media announcements and events.Identify, assess, and manage emerging issues and reputational risks, providing strategic communications advice.Creating, managing, editing and implementing communications strategies and products for corporate initiatives and issues.Providing support for enquiries from media, including acting as a spokesperson (ability to speak publicly in a language besides English is an asset).Speech writing and experience writing for senior leaders.Acting as the lead and central point of contact for specific business areas and issues files.Liaising with other groups within the organization to ensure consistent messaging and communications strategy.Monitoring current events and industry news, anticipating potential impacts.What you bringAt least five years of related experience, ideally in corporate communications, public relations or journalism.Post-secondary degree/diploma in communications or a related field.Exceptional writing skills and ability to breakdown complex information into content that is engaging and easy to understand.Ability to work under pressure and excel in a fast-paced,
