- Oversee full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, general ledger and month-end and year-end close
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Manage bi-weekly payroll, source deductions, remittances, T4s and ROEs
- Prepare and file HST, WSIB and other statutory filings on time
- Reconcile bank, credit card and balance sheet accounts
- Maintain and improve internal controls, including approval workflows and segregation of duties
- Manage cash flow, collections and vendor payments
- Act as the main contact for customers and suppliers on billing, payments, collections and account questions, by phone and email
- Support inventory costing, job costing and physical counts
- Coordinate with external accountants on year-end, audit or review engagements
- Supervise and support accounting staff, if applicable
Job Type: Full time
Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
