Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the company's outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal departments. Your expertise in accounting software and data entry will help streamline our accounts payable processes, supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Duties

- Process and verify all incoming invoices using accounting software such as Quickbook, ensuring compliance with company policies and deadlines
- Manage accounts payable transactions through platforms like ADP, Ceridian, Kronos, and Workday to facilitate timely payments
- Perform account reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy of vendor balances and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Maintain meticulous records of all transactions, including invoice approvals, payment schedules, and vendor communications




- Assist in accounts receivable activities when necessary to support overall financial processes
- Generate reports and conduct analysis to monitor outstanding payables, identify trends, and improve process efficiencies

Experience

- Proven experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping roles within a fast-paced environment
- Strong familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, PeopleSoft, Workday, or QuickBooks
- Experience working with payroll systems like ADP or Ceridian is highly desirable
- Knowledge of account reconciliation procedures and data entry best practices
- Ability to analyze financial data accurately and identify discrepancies quickly
- Prior exposure to human resources information systems (HRIS) such as UltiPro or Kronos is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills combined with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
