and personalized serviceOversee daily store operations, including scheduling, payroll, inventory, expenses, and budget managementMaintain a visually inspiring showroom that reflects EQ3's brand and merchandising standardsPartner with the Assistant Store Manager to establish priorities, manage performance, and ensure consistent operational executionPartner with Human Resources to recruit, onboard, develop, and retain talented employeesConduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and employee development conversationsEnsure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and applicable health and safety requirementsWhat You Bring To The TableA minimum of three years of progressive retail management experience; a combination of relevant education and experience may also be consideredDemonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing a successful retail sales teamStrong commercial awareness, with experience managing sales targets, payroll, budgets, inventory, and key performance indicatorsA customer-focused leadership style and the ability to build strong, lasting relationshipsExcellent communication, organizational, decision-making,



and problem-solving skillsThe ability to balance strategic priorities with the day-to-day demands of a busy retail environmentProficiency with point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office; experience with SharePoint or STORIS is considered an assetAn understanding of visual merchandising, retail trends, market competition, and evolving customer needsExperience in furniture, home décor, interior design, fashion, or another premium customer-focused retail environment is considered an assetPostsecondary education in Business Administration, Design, Retail Management, or a related field is considered an assetAvailability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as requiredWORK LIFE AT EQ3At EQ3, we believe great results begin with a supported and engaged team.
