This is a hands-on seat with direct exposure to the President and CFO, built for someone who wants ownership and room to grow with the business.The roleOwn day-to-day accounting and month-end close in a manufacturing environmentWIP, project/job costing, inventory, and GAAP financialsReporting, forecasts, and support for leadershipQuickBooks (current system) plus expense reportingPartner across operations as the company scalesNo direct reports todayWhat they're looking for5-9 years of progressive accounting experience in small or mid-size manufacturingSolid WIP and project accountingStrong GAAP financialsCPA or Canadian equivalent highly preferred; public accounting mix is a plusBachelor's degree minimumHungry, explicit communicator, comfortable being the accounting lead without a large department underneath youEligible to work in CanadaCompensation & benefitsBase up to ~$150K CAD, plus 10% target bonus3 weeks PTOSupplemental health coverage (employer pays 50%) on top of provincial coverageRetirement plan in place
