Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in HVAC systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various air conditioning units. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of cooling systems in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

- Design, install, and maintain HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on air conditioning units.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues related to HVAC systems.
- Conduct appliance repairs as necessary, including boilers and other cooling equipment.
- Utilize plumbing skills for installation and maintenance of HVAC components.
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed for system repairs or modifications.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to complete projects on time.




- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in HVAC engineering or a related field.
- Robust mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair complex systems.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical documentation.
- Proficient in appliance repair, including boilers, plumbing, welding, and fabrication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid certifications or licenses relevant to HVAC engineering are preferred.
