This role is responsible for ensuring that we always deliver the highest standards of product quality and merchandising. Our Seafood department is dedicated to supporting the local community by offering a diverse selection of seafood sourced from local vendors.The ideal candidate should have experience in retail management, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering a positive shopping experience. You will lead a team, implement merchandising strategies, and drive sales growth while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, you should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays.Supervisory Responsibilities:Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staffOversees the daily workflow of the departmentProvides constructive and timely performance evaluationsHandles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policyDuties/Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operations of the seafood department ensuring efficient processes and high standards of serviceLead a team of 5-8 employees, fostering a collaborative work environmentMonitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and ensure timely replenishment of products to minimize out-of-stock situationsCreate and maintain optimal team member scheduling, ensuring target labor costs are metEnsure adherence to health and safety regulations,
