We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities

- Safely operate company vehicles, including lorries and vans, to deliver goods to clients and distribution centres.
- Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations and any discrepancies.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met.




- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
- Assist in warehouse activities as needed, including stock organisation and inventory checks.

Skills

- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role.
- Valid driver’s licence suitable for the vehicle type (e.g., car or lorry).
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Experience with commercial driving and knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when required, often involving bulky or heavy items.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Organised with good time management skills to adhere to schedules efficiently.

Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $180.00-$220.00 per day
