Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. Preference will be given to those already apprenticed in the trade (or a similar trade)

As an Apprentice Automotive Technician, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance within a dealership environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service and repairs.

Preference will be given to those who have automotive (or heavy duty) experience.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the diagnosis and repair of vehicles, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform various automotive tasks, including assembly and maintenance.
- Learn to read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and components.
- Support senior technicians in performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.




- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance automotive knowledge and technical skills.

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge with a passion for automotive repair.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in the automotive industry.
- Ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
- Understanding of schematics related to automotive systems.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.
