Looking to build your pipefitting career and get real hands-on fabrication experience?

Panax Oil & Gas Inc. is looking for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year Apprentice Pipefitters to join our Edmonton fabrication team.

This is a great prospect for apprentices who want to learn the trade, work alongside experienced journeymen, and gain experience building complete oil & gas production packages from the ground up.

What You'll Be Doing

- Fit and assemble process piping, flanges, valves and fittings
- Measure, cut, prep and fit pipe for threading
- Read and work from isometric drawings, P&IDs; and fabrication drawings
- Assist with flange fit-up, bolt-up and equipment assembly
- Work on separator packages and meter skids
- Assist with hydrostatic testing and final package completion
- Use hand tools, power tools and shop equipment
- Learn from experienced journeyman pipefitters
- Follow Panax safety and quality procedures
- Keep your work area clean and organized

Who We're Looking For
- 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Registered Pipefitter Apprentice
- Fabrication shop experience is an asset
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Ability to read isometric drawings is an asset — we'll consider apprentices who are still developing this skill
- Mechanically inclined and willing to learn
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude




- Able to take direction and work as part of a team
- Takes pride in doing quality work safely

Work Schedule Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Friday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
