Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in plumbing. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills in various plumbing tasks. You will assist with installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems while learning the trade.

Duties

- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Collaborate with senior plumbers to troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Learn about HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing installations and repairs.
- Develop mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures.




- Apply basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Basic understanding of mechanical concepts related to plumbing.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction or plumbing work.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
- Willingness to learn from experienced professionals in the field.
- Previous experience in carpentry or HVAC is beneficial but not required.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during work shifts.
