Ryerson offers a energetic, quality-focused, environment, ideal for advancing your career and making your mark in the metals industry.As a Material Handler at Ryerson, you will be responsible for day-to-day staging, packing, and picking material for shipments using proper equipment.This position will work Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm.Roles and ResponsibilitiesPicking and staging feedstock for fulfillment ordersBreaking down bulk bundles for customer-specific ordersPackaging of material to customer requirementsOperating a sit-down or side loader forklift and overhead crane to move material as neededProper completion of paperwork and SAP work order confirmation for shipping/receiving on the computerMaximum productivity for finished goods creationAll other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without noticeRequirementsMinimum 1 year of similar job experience requiredForklift and overhead crane experience requiredBasic math skillsBasic computer skills and/or comfort using a computerPhysical ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision, hearing, and mobilityRyerson Canada is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
