OperatorReports to: Plant ManagerLocation: Mississauga, Ontario (CRH Cement Plant Site)Compensation: $30.00-35.00/hrPosition SummaryCarbon Upcycling is seeking a Plant Operator to support the start-up and ongoing operation of its new commercial-scale facility located at the CRH cement plant site in Mississauga, Ontario. This role is hands-on and critical to secure, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The Plant Operator will work closely with engineering, maintenance, and operations leadership during commissioning and steady-state operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate plant equipment and systems in accordance with operating procedures and safety standardsSupport commissioning, start-up, shutdown, and normal operations of the facilityMonitor process parameters, perform routine inspections, and record operating dataIdentify process upsets or equipment issues and take appropriate corrective actionsPerform basic troubleshooting of mechanical and process-related issuesCoordinate with maintenance personnel to support repairs and preventative maintenance activitiesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentComply with all site, CRH, and Carbon Upcycling health, safety,



and environmental requirementsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and operational optimization effortsPerform other tasks assigned by supervisionQualifications & ExperienceTechnical diploma or equivalent experience in industrial operations, chemical processing, cement, mining, maintenance or manufacturing environments2–5 years of experience as a plant or process operator in an industrial setting preferredFamiliarity with mechanical systems, material handling, and process equipmentStrong commitment to safety and operational disciplineAbility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as requiredAbility to work in all weather environmentsComfortable working in an industrial plant environmentSkills & CompetenciesMechanical aptitude and process awarenessStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to follow detailed procedures and documentationEffective communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to support start-up activities and evolving operationsAbility to reliably provide transport to workMust be able to work all shift patterns including days, afternoons, and nights.Why Join Us?At Carbon Upcycling, your work drives meaningful progress toward a low-carbon future.
