Title - Senior AI Solutions Designer

Location – Remote (Occasional travel for meetings to Mtrl or QC)

Duration – 18+ Months contract

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and evolve AI-powered solutions, including conversational assistants, intelligent agents, and advanced automation solutions.
- Design and build required application components, including user interfaces, APIs, services, and integrations with existing enterprise systems.
- Participate in the design and implementation of Generative AI architectures, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, prompting techniques, conversational context management, and agent orchestration.
- Ensure quality, performance, reliability, observability, and production readiness through testing, CI/CD, deployment, and continuous improvement practices.
- Integrate security, compliance, governance, and privacy requirements into AI solutions and contribute to AI risk management initiatives.
- Serve as a technical reference for delivery teams, mentor developers, and contribute to architecture, planning, and estimation activities.




- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to embed AI capabilities into business processes, optimize performance, and support the evolution of organizational technology standards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software development or technology solution design.
- Significant experience delivering modern cloud-based solutions and digital products in complex environments.
- Hands-on experience with Artificial Intelligence projects.
- Strong knowledge of modern Full Stack development, REST APIs, service-oriented architectures, C#/.NET, and Python.
- Experience with Generative AI technologies including LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG architectures, intelligent agents, and AI orchestration tools.
- Solid technical leadership, analytical ability, communication skills, and collaborative mindset.
