WCI Paving Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Asphalt Roller Operator to join our paving crew. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a 10-ton asphalt roller on commercial, municipal and residential paving projects.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a 10-ton roller during asphalt placement and compaction
- Achieve proper compaction, grade and a smooth finished surface
- Follow the rolling pattern and communicate closely with the paving foreman and crew
- Monitor asphalt temperature and identify areas requiring additional compaction
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain the roller in clean and good operating condition
- Assist the paving crew with other duties when required
- Follow all company health and safety policies and job-site procedures

Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a 10-ton asphalt roller is required
- Robust understanding of asphalt compaction techniques and rolling patterns
- Ability to work safely around paving equipment, trucks and moving traffic
- Dependable,



punctual and able to work effectively as part of a crew
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Available to work long hours, early mornings and occasional weekends when required
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Relevant safety training and equipment certifications are considered assets
