Barry Enterprises is hiring a hands-on Asset Protection Professional to support retail clients in Calgary. This is an active floor position for someone who can stay alert, engage professionally with staff and customers, and respond confidently when an incident occurs.

Responsibilities

- Monitor the sales floor for theft, suspicious activity, and safety concerns.
- Conduct visible patrols and use site systems in accordance with client procedures.
- Respond to incidents, assist store staff, and follow the site’s escalation process.
- Document observations and incidents in clear, accurate reports.
- Communicate promptly with store management and Barry Enterprises operations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold client service standards.

Requirements

- Valid Alberta security services licence.




- Experience in retail loss prevention or asset protection preferred.
- Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Sound judgment and the ability to remain calm during difficult interactions.
- Availability for full-time hours, including evenings and weekends as scheduled.
- Ability to remain on your feet and move throughout the site during a shift.
