Tahini’s is looking for a proactive Assistant Manager / Manager to join our team at our Ossington/Bloor Street West location in Toronto.

We are looking for someone who can lead by example, support and motivate our team, provide an amazing guest experience, and help drive the restaurant’s success. If you have experience with Tahini’s, shawarma, Mediterranean restaurants, or a similar fast-casual food environment, that is an asset.

Your Role

As an Assistant Manager / Manager, you will play an important role in the daily operation of the restaurant. You will:

Lead and motivate team members by setting a positive example.

Ensure every guest receives friendly, welcoming, and exceptional service.

Support daily restaurant operations and help keep the store running smoothly.

Monitor food quality, cleanliness, food safety, and overall store standards.

Assist with inventory management, ordering, preparation, and waste control.

Help manage daily tasks and ensure they are completed efficiently and accurately.

Support sales growth by engaging with guests and creating a great customer experience.

Train, coach, and develop team members to help them succeed.

Maintain high standards of organization, cleanliness, and professionalism.

Work closely with the Owner/General Manager to improve store performance and team operations.

What We’re Looking For





Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.

Experience at Tahini’s or another shawarma/Mediterranean restaurant is an asset.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.

Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to motivate and support a team.

Reliable, responsible, and willing to take ownership of your work.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional late-night shifts as required.
