auditing and reporting.Lead and supervise the day to day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service.Review all Fairmont Gold reservations ensuring accuracy, and that all standards are met.Provide exceptional concierge information to our guests about local and area attractions, restaurants, theatres, special events, tickets, and other available servicesMust be available for shift work including weekends, mornings, and evenings.Ensure the arrival and departure experience of all guests is seamless through coordination of our market mix and VIP'sEmpower colleagues to appease any guest service challenges and ensure all guest issues are tracked and followed up on to ensure service recoveryConsistently seeking ideas for enhancing the Fairmont Gold product and servicesMaintaining communication with all departments within the hotel to ensure that Fairmont Gold standards are delivered on a consistent basisEnsure food and beverage standards are adhered to on a daily basis while continually raising the bar of service excellence; assisting Lounge Attendants when neededOther duties as assignedPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to)Constant standing and walking throughout shift.Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.QualificationsYour experience and skills include:Minimum 1 years previous Front Desk supervisory experience in a Large Hotel preferredAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentExcellent knowledge of Micros-Opera PROPERTY Manager,



word and excelPrevious working experience in Royal Service and or dealing with guest recovery with excellent recoveryGraduate of Hotel Management or Hospitality program an assetHighly organized, creative and results-orientated with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast paced, changing environmentExcellent written and verbal skills with a high attention to detail requiredSolutions-orientated, strong interpersonal skills and problem solving techniquesAbility to work cohesively as part of a team and focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesConstant sitting, standing and walking throughout shiftOn occasion must be physically able to lift guest luggage and assist to guest roomCandidates must be legal to serve alcohol in Alberta (18 years of age) and must possess ProServe certificationMust be legally eligible to work in Canada.
