Reporting to the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor, you'll load, unload and move inventory safely and efficiently around our manufacturing warehouse and yard, and keep the production floor supplied with raw materials. You'll also handle the clerical side of shipping and receiving, from booking freight to preparing documents and keeping records accurate.ReceivingInspect incoming goods and check the count or measure against packing slips, invoices and purchase ordersRecord shortages, reject damaged goods, and report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keepingUnpack, code and label goods, then route them to their designated storage locationsShippingPick outgoing orders accurately and verify every order and product count before it shipsAssemble containers and crates, then pack, wrap and label goods with shipping instructions so they arrive undamagedChoose the shipping method, get freight quotes for outgoing shipments and for requests from Sales Representatives or other branches, and book courier and truck-line pickupsPrepare and verify bills of lading, packing lists, delivery notes, customs forms, invoices and labels, by hand or in the systemCarry large items to the trucks when needed, and stage packed orders in the right area of the warehouse at the end of each dayWarehouse and productionOperate reach trucks, forklifts,
