This includes everything from preventive maintenance to major repairs, troubleshooting, and diagnostics across one of the most advanced fleets in the industry. relocation assistance and benefits is subject to the applicable EVR policy or collective agreement.In this role you will:Participate in and comply with EVR's health and safety programs, procedures and policiesPerform routine preventative maintenance and major equipment repairsTroubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic equipment issuesRepair major equipment breakdownsDisassemble, inspect, repair and reassemble engines, transmissions and other major componentsDiagnose and repair cooling, fuel, exhaust, braking, clutch, differential, hydraulic, electrical and lubrication systemsMaintain and repair mobile off‐road mining equipment, including haul trucks, graders, bulldozers, excavators, shovels and loadersPrepare maintenance reports and service recordsRecommend practical and innovative repair solutionsApply industry best practices when maintaining and repairing equipmentWork with equipment manufactured by CAT, Komatsu, P&H, Hitachi, John Deere, LeTourneau, Volvo, Marion and other manufacturersWork independently and collaboratively as part of a maintenance teamMinimum Requirements:Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification or equivalentValid driver's licensePreferred ExperienceExperience working with off‐road heavy equipmentBackground in mining, construction, agriculture, forestry, oil & gas, or other heavy industry environmentsDiesel engine experience will be considered for candidates looking to transition into off‐road workWork LocationThe position is site‐based at our operations in the Elk Valley,
