The hourly wage rate for this position is $25. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Please note that artificial intelligence–based tools may be used at certain stages of the recruitment and applicant screening process.This is a posting for an existing job vacancyHow you will make an impact:You will be responsible for taking food and beverage orders and efficiently delivering items to dining room guests.As a Waitstaff, you will be:Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room; take food and beveragesin an efficient manner, following established steps of serviceDeliver food promptly and professionally; maintain protected food handling and sanitation standards. Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requestsDemonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients.



Advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested; accommodate reasonable requests and notes preferences. Demonstrate knowledge of specialized dietsCommunicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly, and special requests are accommodatedPromptly address complaints or issues, relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisorEnsure that the dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period; keep the area clean andneat while meeting established sanitation standardsWork with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functionsAbout you:You have previous experience in banquet, corporate events, executive dining, catering or hospitality.You must have a valid Serving It Right and Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalentExceptional communications skills and ability to get along well with othersMust be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items, and stand/walk for majority of shiftFlexible availability including evenings as required by event schedules.Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional appearance and demeanor.
