COMPANY OVERVIEW"Design TWG Inc." in Mississauga, ON is now hiring a full time and permanent 'Architectural Draftsperson' to join our company.JOB TITLE: Architectural DraftspersonLOCATION: Unit 2, 2260, Meadowvale Blvd, Mississauga, ON, L5N 6M6 (1 Vacancy)JOB TYPE: RegularTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-timeANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as possibleSALARY: $37.00 per hourHOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 30 to 35 hours/WeekWORK SETTING: Office & On-siteJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and prepare architectural and engineering drawings, plans, diagrams, and layouts from sketches, design concepts, and project specifications.Operate computer-assisted drafting (CAD) software and related drafting equipment to prepare detailed technical drawings and construction documents.Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, permit drawings, and construction documents for commercial, hospitality, retail, and residential projects.Revise and update drawings to incorporate design changes, client requirements, and project specifications.Coordinate with designers, architects,



engineers, consultants, and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.Prepare and maintain project documentation, drawing revisions, and technical records throughout all stages of the design process.Review drawings for accuracy, quality standards, and compliance with applicable building codes, municipal regulations, and project requirements.PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTSCompletion of college program in related field is required.Minimum 7 months to 1 year of experience in related position is preferred.Effectively communicate orally and in writing in English.Experience working with CAD, MS Office, MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows is an asset.Able to work independently and in a team, adaptable, good time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.HOW TO APPLYBy E-Mail: [email protected]
