Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Leadhand will oversee and participate in the shipping, receiving, and storing of product in the Warehouse. This position is responsible to serve as the lead over one or more assigned Warehouse functions, which includes but is not limited to training, and leading the work for assigned staff in a safe and effective manner.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse teamTrain and mentor new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocolsEnsure efficient and accurate order fulfillment, including picking and shippingCollaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely picking and delivery of ordersRespond to employee inquiries regarding job processes and concernsConduct order selecting in all climates (dry, refrigerated, freezer)Operate Warehouse equipment including: end-rider, reach truck, lift-truck, and tow-motorEnsure products stacked on pallets are prevented from damage, and maintain integrity while in transitVerify loads are accurateArrange and build multi-customer pallets in sequence to ensure the location of products for delivery drivers is seamless and efficientProactively identify operational issues, and assist Supervisor to identify and implement solutionsTrained and efficient in other warehouse duties including: shipping, receiving, truck unloading, handling returns & customer pickups, restocking & inventory controlSupport upkeep of housekeeping & recycling, conduct minor maintenanceFollow safe and efficient work procedures to meet customer requirements including maintaining a clean and secure environmentComplete and keep up to date on all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance training pertinent to the roleConduct Health & Safety observations and inspections as per weekly expectationResponsible for reporting any and all concerns related to the Health & Safety,
