Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Auto/Heavy Duty Parts Advisor to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be the key point of contact for customers seeking parts for trucks and vehicles. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help ensure customers receive the right parts quickly and accurately, supporting our commitment to excellent service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills while working in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Duties

- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct auto/truck parts based on their needs and vehicle specifications
- Maintain detailed knowledge of parts inventory, including ordering and fulfillment processes
- Use dealership experience and POS (Point of Sale) systems to process sales transactions efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering technical advice, and resolving issues promptly




- Manage cash handling duties accurately while maintaining proper cash register procedures
- Collaborate with technicians and management to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory management
- Promote additional products or services through effective communication and marketing techniques

Requirements

- Previous dealership or automotive parts experience is highly preferred
- Strong familiarity with POS systems, inventory management, and order processing software
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages are advantageous; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes, electrical systems, and maintenance procedures
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly phone etiquette approach
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment and record keeping
- Good math skills for pricing, discounts, and transaction calculations
- Experience with marketing or sales management strategies is beneficial
