We are currently seeking an experienced Millwright Apprentice / Industrial Maintenance Technician to provide temporary maintenance coverage within a busy manufacturing environment in St. Catharines. The successful candidate will have strong hands‐on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, welding, and preventative maintenance. Millwright apprenticeship experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with robust practical maintenance, welding, and troubleshooting experience will also be considered.ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and production equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical and equipment‐related issuesRespond to equipment breakdowns and complete repairs as requiredPerform welding and fabrication for equipment repairs and modificationsComplete preventative and routine maintenanceRepair or replace worn or damaged mechanical componentsOperate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment,



and forklifts safelyWork with production staff to address maintenance concerns and minimize downtimeMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow company health and safety policies and applicable workplace safety requirementsQualificationsPrevious industrial or manufacturing maintenance experienceMillwright apprenticeship experience is preferred but not requiredStrong welding skills and experience performing welding repairsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilitiesExperience with preventative maintenance and industrial equipment repairForklift experienceGeneral understanding of applicable workplace health and safety laws and requirementsAbility to diagnose problems and determine practical repair solutionsAble to work independently and prioritize maintenance needsReliable and safety‐consciousAssignment DetailsThis is a temporary full‐time position providing coverage for an employee who is currently away from work for an undetermined period.
