This is a new position.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Electrician is responsible for performing general electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing plant machinery and equipment to support safe, reliable, and productive manufacturing operations.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role works closely with employees across the entire plant to ensure electrical systems and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable regulations.WHAT YOU WILL DOElectrical maintenance & repairsPerform standard electrical maintenance on machinery and equipment, independently or under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.Complete electrical repairs and installations to support ongoing plant operations.Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to identify effective repair solutions.Mechanical & operational supportPerform minor mechanical repairs and installations as required.Operate and maintain applicable machinery and equipment within the assigned area.Use appropriate material handling techniques, including cranes, slings, and related equipment.Maintenance coordinationOperate the Maintenance Request System to receive, track,
