Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role requires proficiency with various tools and equipment, as well as a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are in optimal working condition.

Duties

- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot vehicle issues accurately.
- Conduct assembly of vehicle components as needed during repairs or upgrades.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle’s condition and required services,



providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
- Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts or equipment when necessary.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with welding is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as part of daily tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
