Responsibilities

- Provide professional haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences
- Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering style recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for all tools, equipment, and workstations to ensure a safe environment
- Upsell additional services or retail products that enhance the client’s grooming experience and meet their needs
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling transactions efficiently




- Communicate clearly with clients about styling options, aftercare tips, and product recommendations
- Keep up-to-date with the latest hair styling trends and techniques to provide innovative services that keep clients coming back

Skills

- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Expertise in hair styling techniques for various hair types and styles
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times
- Ability to upsell retail products and additional services confidently without being pushy
- Excellent communication skills to understand client preferences and explain styling options effectively
- Experience in retail sales within a salon or barbershop environment is a plus
- Organizational skills to manage appointments efficiently and maintain a tidy workspace
