Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking an Executive Assistant / Executive Operations Analyst to provide high-quality administrative, organizational, analytical, and operational support to the Senior Vice President & Chief Audit Executive.This role is ideal for a proactive, highly discreet, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced executive environment and is equally comfortable managing complex administrative needs, preparing polished executive materials, maintaining key trackers and reports, and using Microsoft 365, including approved AI tools such as Copilot, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.ResponsibilitiesProvide proactive daily support including complex calendar management, meeting scheduling, communications coordination, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and general administrative supportSupport the operating rhythm of the Office of the Chief Audit Executive, including meeting cadence, agenda planning, deliverable tracking, action-item follow-up, and preparation of executive-ready materialsLiaise with senior executives, board members, internal stakeholders, and external partnersPrepare, maintain, reconcile, and improve departmental reporting including quarterly Audit Committee materials, annual planning documents, department KPIs, client surveys, and management action item reportingUse Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Forms and other Microsoft 365 tools to create high-quality reports, presentations, trackers, briefing materials, and meeting summariesLeverage approved AI tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot to summarize information, draft communications, improve reporting workflows, and organize meeting outputsApply strong judgment when reviewing AI-assisted outputs for accuracy, tone, confidentiality,
and appropriatenessHandle confidential, privileged, financial, audit, governance, board-related, and personnel information with the highest level of discretionCoordinate team events, quarterly meetings, onboarding activities, vendor interactions, and other operational needsIdentify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve administrative and reporting processesRequirements5+ years supporting senior-level executives in a fast-paced, qualified environmentExperience supporting a public-company executive, governance function, audit, finance, legal, risk, or board-facing team is an assetAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and TeamsDemonstrated ability to use Microsoft 365 Copilot or similar approved AI toolsExceptional judgment when handling confidential and governance-related informationStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh degree of accuracy, follow-through, and quality controlProven ability to build trusted relationships across the organizationFamiliarity with SAP Concur or similar expense and travel management systems is an assetCompensationBroadband salary range: $53,000 – $88,000 CAD.
