This helps ensure the availability of a clean community water supply and discharge of effluent that meets applicable legislative requirements.LocationThis position will have travel along the 401 corridor between Mallorytown and the Quebec Border.Roles and ResponsibilitiesMonitoring treatment processes, including screening, aeration, clarification, disinfection,



and lagoon systemsSampling water and wastewater as well as performing onsite process analysisPerforming common dosing calculations, setting dosing rates, and monitoring to ensure desired dosing rate is achievedInspecting, servicing, and repairing components of the treatment plants, including but not limited to intakes, conveyance equipment, chemical treatment equipment, and control systemsAssisting in the execution preventative maintenance programsSupervising subcontractors to support site operationsCompleting log and work order reports using electronic communicationsRecommending the purchase of goods and equipmentCommunicating changes in site conditionsDemonstrating advanced understanding of safety including consistent identification of hazards, implementing risk abatement strategies and where necessary, selection of personal protective equipmentResponding to emergency calls and be available during duty periodsContributing towards achieving desired Quality Control & Quality Assurance goalsPerforming other duties as requiredMinimum QualificationsMECP Water and Sewage licenses (issued by OWWCO).
