Starting salary will be determined based on internal equity and the successful candidate's qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.About the OpportunityCanadian North is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME M2) with Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) to join our maintenance team in Edmonton, Alberta.Working on our Boeing 737 and ATR fleet, you will perform and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities that support safe, reliable operations across Canada's North. and engineering instructionsEnsure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in a timely mannerComplete and control aircraft parts tags and maintenance recordsMaintain accountability for company tools, equipment, and technical publicationsSupport operational reliability while maintaining the highest safety standardsWork collaboratively with Maintenance Control, Flight Operations, Stores, and other operational departmentsPerform additional duties as assignedWhat You'll BringRequired QualificationsCompletion of an approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma ProgramMinimum 4 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experienceValid Canadian Driver's LicenseStrong organizational, communication, and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust obtain and maintain an AVOP with the appropriate D/DA ratingMust obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport CanadaPreferred QualificationsCandidates possessing any combination of the following will be considered strong assets:Boeing 737 Classic and/or NG experienceATR 42 and/or ATR 72 experiencePrevious ACA experienceActive ATR or Boeing 737 type courseAbility to communicate in InuktitutExperience working in remote, northern,
