Job Overview

An Entrepreneur with interests across Tech, Cannabis and Food-Service is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with budgeting and payroll. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, is proficient in QuickBooks accounting software and has experience in account reconciliation and analysis and assist with GST/HST and payroll tax submissions.

Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Prepare financial reports and statements for management review
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or issues




- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any financial-related inquiries or concerns

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Proficiency in Quickbooks accounting software
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, budgeting, and payroll processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or issues in financial records
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced workplace
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Type: Full time Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
