Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess excellent communication skills, with a passion for maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities
- Manage day to day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online, including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare the bi-weekly cheque run and bank deposits
- Process bi-weekly payroll and payroll related transactions such as WSIB, Source deductions, etc.
- Enter and reconcile credit card and bank account transactions
- Handle data entry with precision to ensure accurate financial records and reporting
- Support administrative functions such as filing, document management, and maintaining organized records
- Assist with correspondence, document preparation, answer phones and other general office duties
Experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Minimum 3 years experience in a comparable role
- Experience with data entry, filing systems, and clerical tasks in a skilled setting
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in the Construction Industry is an asset
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently, take ownership of assigned tasks, and follow through to completion
Transportation is required as we are not on a bus route. Pay: $31.00-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
