We are a multi-disciplinary team providing services to the Surgical and Endoscopy Suites for our hospital site and the Brooks Health Centre. This is a great prospect as our team works in all areas of Medical Device Reprocessing. You must be certified by CSA or HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM), including 400 practicum hours in a health care facility, to work as a CMDRT in AHS facilities.Description:As a Surgical Processor, you will be responsible for the decontamination, reassembly and sterilization of hospital supplies, equipment and surgical instrumentation. You will use the principles of aseptic technique and follow Universal Precautions in the prevention of Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI).
