professional and engaging welcome and farewell to every guestManage reservations, guest profiles, seating plans and waitlists accurately and efficientlyCoordinate table assignments and restaurant flow in collaboration with Servers and restaurant leadershipAnticipate guest needs and recognize special occasions, preferences and requests to help personalize the dining experienceAnswer telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, menus, operating hours and hotel offeringsMaintain current knowledge of Notch8 menus, seasonal features, promotions and hotel experiencesCommunicate guest preferences, dietary restrictions, allergies and special requests to the appropriate colleaguesAssist with guest concerns thoughtfully and professionally, involving restaurant leadership when appropriateMaintain an organized, polished and welcoming host area throughout serviceSupport the restaurant team during peak periods with table resets and other front-of-house duties as requiredCommunicate effectively with Culinary and Front-of-House colleagues to support smooth and timely serviceFollow all applicable service, health, safety and sanitation standardsComplete opening, closing and other assigned duties to support the overall success of Notch8QualificationsYou'll Be a Great Fit If You HavePrevious Host, restaurant or guest service experience, preferably within a high-volume upscale restaurant or luxury hotel environmentA genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiencesA warm, confident and engaging presence with strong interpersonal skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesExperience with OpenTable or another restaurant reservation system is an assetExperience with a Point of Sale (POS) system is an assetAbility to manage reservations,
