First Step Men’s Therapy is hiring two Brand Ambassadors for upcoming mall events in Hamilton and Oakville. We provide in-person and online therapy for men, couples, and families across Ontario. At our booth, you’ll help visitors learn what we offer and how to take a first step toward support.

This is a public-facing role that calls for warmth, confidence, and discretion. You’ll start friendly conversations without pressuring anyone to share personal information or engage.

Event shifts (Non-Negotiable)

Hamilton — Lime Ridge Mall - note: this is the Thanksgiving weekend

- Friday, October 9:30 a.m.–8 p.m.
- Saturday, October 10: 9:30a.m.–6 p.m.
- Sunday, October 11: 1030 a.m.–5 p.m.

Oakville — Oakville Place

- Friday, October 23: 9:30 a.m.–8 p.m.
- Saturday, October 24: 9:30 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Sunday, October 25: 1030 a.m.–5 p.m.

We prefer applicants available for both weekends, but will consider those who can work one complete weekend. You must be able to travel independently to your assigned location.

What you’ll do

- Welcome visitors and introduce First Step Men’s Therapy and its services.
- Share marketing materials and explain how to learn more or book a free consultation.




- Answer general questions using the information provided in training, and direct clinical, personal, or insurance-specific questions to our clinic team.
- Help set up, maintain, and pack down the booth.
- Keep simple activity counts and share common questions and feedback with our team.
- Treat every interaction with professionalism and respect for privacy.

What we’re looking for

- Friendly, clear communication and comfort starting conversations with the public.
- Reliability throughout your assigned event weekend.
- Valuable judgment when sensitive topics arise in a busy public setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during event shifts.

Experience in events, hospitality, retail, customer service, marketing, or community outreach is helpful but not required. Bilingual abilities are an asset. Clinical training is not required; paid orientation will prepare you for the role. Pay: $30 per hour. Final shifts will be confirmed in the offer.
