I'm currently partnering with a client in the industrial distribution sector that is looking to add an organized, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to their Cambridge team.This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in distribution who enjoys working with customers, managing multiple priorities and keeping things moving in a fast-paced environment.What you'll be doingHandle a high volume of inbound customer calls and emailsManage and process RFQs from start to finishIdentify products and solutions based on customer requirementsPrepare and issue purchase ordersCoordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure orders are processed accuratelyManage multiple requests and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detailBuild strong relationships with customers and provide responsive serviceWhat they're looking for2–3+ years of experience within distribution — this is a key requirementUnderstanding how RFQs, products, POs and order processing workHighly organized and comfortable managing a high volume of activityPersonable, professional and confident communicating with customersStrong multitasking and time-management skillsA technical background is an asset; mechanical engineering or related experience would be beneficialComfortable working 5 days a week in the Cambridge office$50K–$55K base salary + $2K–$5K quarterly bonusThis is an excellent prospect for someone who enjoys the customer side of distribution, is highly organized and can thrive in a busy environment where no two days are the same.Please note: candidates must come from a distribution background.
