2:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Car and Licence will be needed for this position as you will be travelling to two different clients, one in the north side and one in the south side.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Health Care Aid to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and support to individuals across various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Your energetic approach and genuine empathy will help enhance the quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring hospice or dementia care.

Duties

- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
- Provide patient care including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs under supervision or as trained.
- Support meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning living spaces, laundry, and maintaining a safe workplace.




- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation.
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting to ensure safety during transfers or repositioning.
- Follow care plans meticulously, documenting observations and reporting any changes in health status promptly.

Experience

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred.
- Proven track record providing patient care, including medication administration and dementia or hospice care.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is advantageous.
- Familiarity with caregiving duties such as meal preparation, cleaning, and safety protocols is essential.
- Knowledge of healthcare practices related to senior care and heavy lifting techniques is beneficial.
- Certification in caregiving or relevant healthcare training is a plus but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided where necessary.
