Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our construction team. We are a small company doing a variety of custom projects in Whistler and Squamish, BC. This is an oportunity to work in a positive environment where your contribution matters.

In this role, you will be building and renovating through every stage of residential construction, from formwork to finishing. Your expertise will help bring architectural, designer, and homeowner visions to life, ensuring quality craftsmanship and safety standards are upheld throughout every project. Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical product specs, and design drawings to accurately execute project plans.
- Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and custom fixtures using carpentry techniques.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood and other materials.
- Perform concrete forming and placement tasks for foundations, or other structural elements.
- Install siding, trim, and other exterior or interior building materials with precision.




- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards while maintaining a clean work workplace.

Qualifications

- A minimum of three years experience on the tools in residential construction and carpentry.
- Owns and operates a properly stocked personal tool belt.
- Proficient in the use of applicable power tools for residential carpentry, saws, nail guns, compressors, drills, etc.
- Knowledge of the residential construction process, as it pertains to facilitating work flow for sub trades.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights. ie. Must be fit enough to work all day at construction!
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges effectively.
- Must have the ability to take direction, but also work unsupervised and be self motivated. Must have a positive attitude and a desire to learn and advance skills and knowledge.
