Phoenix Construction is looking to hire General Carpenters immediately.

The candidates must work well with peers as well as trades and suppliers. Preference will be given to candidates with past residential or commercial construction experience.

Job Summary:

As a General Carpenter, you will be working with our team throughout Central Alberta on the construction of various projects.

Responsibilities:

Includes, but not limited to the following:

- General carpentry
- General construction duties
- Steel frame construction knowledge
- Finishing work
- Metal cladding
- Quality control from start to finish
- Site cleanup as required
- Follow all company safety protocols
- Complete safety inspections

Job Qualifications:

- Journeyman Carpenter would be an asset but not a requirement
- Minimum of 1 year Residential or commercial construction experience
- Robust work ethic with a positive “can do” attitude
- Knowledge of commercial construction and the ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Work independently and as part of a team on day-to-day tasks and projects
- Detail oriented and goal driven




- Willingness/ability to do physically demanding work
- Must have a valid drivers license and own transportation
- Will need basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.)

Salary: $35.00-$40.00 per hour at Management’s discretion depending on experience and qualification such as tickets.
