You'll succeed in being present, respected, and working alongside crews to make safety practical, understood, and consistently followed.What You'll DoBuild strong, day-to-day relationships with crews, supervisors, and sub-tradesBe present on the floor – observing,



engaging and coaching in real timeProvide practical safety guidance to supervisors and employees when addressing hazards or changing work conditionsAddress unsafe acts and conditions directly while reinforcing expectations and gaining employee buy-inConduct inspections and independently follow identified concerns through to resolutionLead incident and near-miss investigations, identify contributing factors, and recommend meaningful corrective actionsDeliver safety meetings, orientations, and training that are practical, relevant, and engagingInterpret and apply occupational health and safety legislation, company policies and industry requirementsTrack and analyze safety data to identify recurring risks, emerging trends and opportunities for improvementSupport internal audits, program reviews, policy development, and continuous improvement initiativesMonitor corrective actions to ensure they are completed effectively and within established expectations
