The Outside Sales Associate is responsible for conducting sales calls in the field via face-to-face, email, phoneand virtual interactions with both potential and existing customers. The Outside Sales Associate will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism.RESPONSIBILITIES:Contacting new customers and developing new profitable HVAC businessAttend and respond all queries, disputes, etc. promptlyProvide timely, accurate and competitive pricing via written quotations while striving to maintain maximum profit margin and growing market shareMaintain electronic records of all sales leads and/or customers while expanding and maintaining a customer databaseConduct business in a moral and ethical mannerForecasting, developing, maintaining and evaluating sales strategiesMeet personal, branch sales and expense budgetsTake sales training and product knowledge courses as recommended or as deemed necessaryAttend industry trade shows approved by ECCO Supply managementParticipate in annual branch physical inventoryReport and provide continuous market feedback to the inside sales team and managementQUALIFICATIONS:3+ Years of outside sales experience in the building materials industry or an equivalent combination of two years of HVAC sales, education, training,
