Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Cashier/Clerk to join our dynamic retail team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that provides exceptional customer service while efficiently managing transactions at the point of sale (POS). Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will ensure smooth store operations, accurate cash handling, and a welcoming shopping experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Operate POS systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are properly stocked
- Conduct product demos when applicable to enhance customer engagement and sales opportunities
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales potential while meeting customer needs
- Provide clear communication,



phone etiquette, and timely assistance to customers and team members
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt checkout and customer satisfaction

Experience

- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and processing transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail merchandising practices is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining store presentation and records
- Customer service experience that showcases professionalism, patience, and effective communication skills

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
