Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Casual Maintenance / Grounds Person to join our team! In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our facilities and outdoor grounds. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that our environment remains welcoming, functional, and well-kept.

Duties

- General Repairs: Fix minor issues with drywall, doors, windows, locks, and flooring.
- Basic Systems Maintenance: Handle minor upkeep for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, such as replacing lightbulbs, fixing leaky faucets, or changing air filters.
- Assembly and Installation: Put together furniture and install fixtures like shelves, cabinets, curtains, and artwork.
- Surface Upkeep: Paint walls, stain wood, apply sealant, and patch crevices or holes.
- Property Maintenance: Clean gutters, check roofs, maintain outdoor green spaces, and clear snow or debris from entrances and sidewalks.
- Record Keeping: Track work orders, log maintenance tasks,



and manage tool and supply inventory

Qualifications

- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of hand and power tools (drills, saws, hammers) and basic repair techniques.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, or structural issues.
- Communication: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to discuss needs with clients or building residents.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces or outdoors in various weather condition
- Customer service orientation to address internal requests professionally and promptly
- Drivers License with reliable transportation.
