Duties

- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols to ensure safety and compliance
- Support residents with dementia or cognitive impairments through engaging activities and compassionate communication
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe, hygienic living environment for residents or clients
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere




- Document care activities meticulously, including medication administration, observations, and any changes in health status

Qualifications

- Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and medication management procedures
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation safely and efficiently
- Certification as a Caregiver or relevant home care qualification is required; additional certifications in senior care or disability support are advantageous
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team-oriented team in fast-paced settings
