Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Asbestos Labourer (Level 3) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely handling and removing asbestos-containing materials, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards. Your expertise will contribute to protected building renovations, demolitions, and restoration projects, helping protect both workers and the environment.

Duties

- Safely remove, handle, and dispose of asbestos materials in accordance with regulatory guidelines and safety protocols
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform asbestos abatement tasks efficiently and accurately
- Conduct thorough cleaning of work areas before, during, and after asbestos removal operations
- Assist with restoration activities such as sealing, encapsulating, or repairing affected surfaces post-removal
- Follow detailed procedures for containment setup, decontamination zones, and waste management




- Support construction teams by providing expertise in asbestos-related safety measures during renovation or demolition projects
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including logs of materials removed and disposal records

Experience

- Proven experience working as a Labourer within construction or restoration environments, preferably with exposure to asbestos or hazardous materials
- Certification as a Level 3 Asbestos Labourer demonstrating advanced knowledge of asbestos handling procedures
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment used in asbestos abatement processes
- Knowledge of safety standards related to asbestos removal, including personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols
- Experience in site cleanup, containment setup, and waste disposal related to hazardous materials is highly desirable
