We are a small laid back office looking for a part time Certified Dental Assistant to join our team Part time.
Please only apply if you have prior dental experience in assisting or are a Certified Dental Assistant new grads are welcome to apply. Wage will be discussed at time of interview.
Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions as well as take impressions
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization protocols are followed diligently.
- Manage patient flow by greeting patients as they arrive, updating medical histories, and answering questions about procedures.
- Support front desk operations by handling dental receptionist duties when needed, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information.
- Proven experience in dental assisting with knowledge of dental procedures and infection control standards.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Harp Certified and able to take x-rays
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques
Pay: $1.00-$2.00 per hour Expected hours: 21.0 per week
